Exit for Comfort is a violin / ukulele duo from San Antonio, Texas.
Exit for Comfort started roughly in May 2013 with us, Vanessa Erickson and Noah Palone. The idea of combining the classical sound of the violin with the plucky, stereotypically novelty sound of the ukulele intrigued us both as an opportunity for musical challenge and exploration.
After about 5 months of practicing, we began playing shows at Clamp Light Artist Studios & Gallery, and was asked to be their “house band.” We continue to do that and play at their monthly openings every second Friday.
